Cookie policy

Short version: this website sets no cookies at all unless you accept them, and there is no advertising or profiling on it.

Analytics — only if you accept

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they read and where they arrive from. It tells us whether the site is working, not who you are.

Nothing is loaded until you agree. When you first arrive you will see a short bar at the bottom of the screen asking whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you press Accept, no Google script is downloaded, no request is made to Google and no cookie is set. If you press Decline, that is remembered and you will not be asked again.

If you do accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to recognise a returning visit and to tell one visitor apart from another. We turn on IP anonymisation, and we do not enable Google's advertising, remarketing or personalisation features. We do not sell or share this data.

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser (in most browsers: the padlock icon in the address bar, then site settings) and the choice will be asked again on your next visit.

What is stored without consent

Two small items in your browser's local storage, not cookies. Neither identifies you and neither ever leaves your device:

  • Your motion preference. If you turn the site's animation off using the control in the footer, that choice is remembered so the site stays that way when you come back.
  • Your cookie choice. Whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask you on every page.

Clearing your browser data removes both.

The site also respects your operating system's "reduce motion" setting without storing anything at all.

What we do not do

  • No advertising cookies.
  • No third-party tracking pixels.
  • No cross-site profiling.
  • No cookie is required for the quotation calculator to work — it works exactly the same whether you accept or decline.

Requests you make to other services

When you search for a collection or delivery location, that text is sent to the address-search services described in our privacy policy so they can suggest matching places. Those requests are needed for the feature to work and are not used to track you across the web.
