Car transport services
Every SKORTA movement is a single car, one dedicated crew, door-to-door across Britain and into Europe. Choose the service that fits the car and the journey.
Choosing the right service
Every SKORTA movement shares the same spine: one car, one crew, collected from a door and delivered to another. What changes is the trailer, the distance and the paperwork.
Enclosed transport is the default for anything low, valuable, freshly detailed or simply private — the car travels sealed inside a covered trailer, out of the weather and out of sight. Open transport gives the same single-car, door-to-door care on an aluminium tilt-bed, and is the sensible, more economical choice for hardier modern cars on shorter, drier runs. If you are weighing the two, the enclosed versus open guide settles it by car type and route.
Beyond the trailer, the question is complexity. A move inside Britain is a straight door-to-door run. A European movement adds the Channel crossing and a CMR consignment note — carried by the same crew the whole way rather than handed to a partner at a port.
What every movement includes
- One car per journey — never a shared load or a multi-car transporter
- The same crew from collection to delivery — no depots, no hand-offs, no sub-contracting
- Soft straps over the tyres, never ratcheted across bodywork or suspension
- A signed, photographic condition report at both ends of the journey
- An agreed collection time at your address — a home, showroom, storage unit, auction house or circuit, not a terminal
